We sometimes get so hung up on our selfish feelings that we forget that part of many relationships, especially marriage is taking care of things without having to be asked.
If we don’t learn this important lesson, then the need to be asked begins to sound like nagging which doesn’t feel good for either side.
Think of something you know you should do and do it without being asked. Also think of something your partner does without having to be asked, and thank them for doing it. Those should give you a good feeling inside.
